Carpet Maintenance

MilliCare technicians use a proprietary, dry polymer cleaning process that absorbs the dirt, stains and allergens embedded in your carpet. The process is safe, effective, and proven to preserve the life of your carpet.

Whether it’s used as a stand-alone process or as a follow-up to hot water extraction in heavily soiled areas, the dry process removes the dirt and detergent residues that can abrade carpet fibers and erode stain resistant finishes applied in the mill. Carpet cleaned with the MilliCare process looks cleaner, because it is cleaner.

Here’s how we clean:

1. Your carpet is prepared with the appropriate pre-mist spray.
2. MilliCare’s proprietary dry polymer is applied to your carpet.
3. Dry polymer is worked into your carpet.
4. Polymer and soil are retrieved.
   

How does it work?

1. Once our polymer is brushed into your carpet, it finds and collects the dirt, dust, allergens, and other particles.
2. The polymer and attached dirt are removed, leaving your carpet clean and dry.

Fiber Protector

We offer an advanced fiber protection treatment. By keeping dirt and stains from sticking to your carpet in the first place, MilliCare Fiber Protector safeguards your carpet fibers from the inside out, making the carpet easier to keep clean and harder to stain.

MilliCare Fiber Protector shields carpet in two ways – an anti-soiling agent reduces cleaning time, and an anti-staining compound helps prevent discoloration.

The anti-soiling agent repels dirt and makes cleaning and vacuuming easier and more effective. The anti-staining technology works at the microscopic level, preventing stains from binding to tiny “dye sites” in the individual carpet fibers. The sites, designed to readily take carpet dye, can hold onto stain particles if not treated with a stain preventative.

Carpet protected with a stain and soil resistant treatment lasts longer and needs to be cleaned less often – lowering your long-term maintenance costs and protecting your valuable investment in your building’s carpet.

Textile Cleaning

Your facility’s chairs, cubicle panels and draperies can be as susceptible to the premature wearassociated with accumulated dirt and allergens as your carpet. MilliCare’s textile cleaning service is specially designed to reduce drying time, and clean more effectively than other methods.

The cleaning solution is pressurized to decrease the liquid solution’s droplet size – this means that solution can penetrate deeper into the material weave, and can more readily be extracted. The solution, along with embedded dirt and allergens, is simultaneously extracted, which means the textiles that we clean dry faster.

Your material will be ready for use after MilliCare textile cleaning in about one hour.

Odor Neutralizer

MilliCare’s Odor Neutralizer service employs a proprietary solution to eliminate odors – permanently. The solution chemically neutralizes any odor particles that it touches, and since it’s from MilliCare you can be sure that the compound used is safe, biodegradable and non-toxic to people or the environment.

Whether you want to freshen a locker room or eliminate cigarette odors from a hotel room, Odor Neutralizer does the trick.
