OUR ORGANIZATION
EBC Carpet Service Corporation, a MilliCare franchise, is a team of associates committed to providing the highest level of customer service available. Whether performing a proactive carpet maintenance program or a one-time cleaning of conference room chairs, we will be at your facility on time, well trained and ready to make you feel confident in your choice to utilize our services.

Since its inception in 1989, EBC has believed that proactive carpet maintenance programs have to be linked to superior customer satisfaction. We’ve continued to add to and improve our services with one goal in mind – to amaze, you, our customers. EBC Carpet Services is now providing carpet maintenance and upholstery programs for over 375 customers in over 400 facilities. We maintained over 80 million square feet of carpet in 2006 alone. EBC is the world’s largest MilliCare franchise and one of the largest commercial carpet maintenance companies in North America. And while many competitors have tried to imitate our quality service and high standards, in the end, they fall short while we grow by leaps and bounds.

To ensure quality, Milliken & Company, our franchisor, partners with only one franchisee in each market area. EBC Carpet Services currently owns four franchises and maintains carpet and upholstery throughout the mid-Atlantic region. While we acknowledge that Milliken & Company provides us with the best carpet cleaning product on the market, it is EBC’s quality service that truly sets us apart. In 1994, 1996 and 1998, EBC Carpet Services was awarded the State of Delaware Quality Award, a quality award process based on the same criteria as the Malcolm Baldridge Award. In 1999 and 2000, we were awarded Super Stars in Business awards from the State of Delaware Chamber of Commerce for overall performance, quality programs, customer satisfaction techniques and financial success. EBC Carpet Services was also chosen by MilliCare Textile and Carpet Care as the “Role Model” franchise for their network. Most MilliCare franchisees have visited EBC’s Delaware office for training. These visits allowed new franchisees to benchmark our sales, scheduling, operations, and human resources processes; our Quality Assurance Process has been modeled in North & South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. To date, EBC has trained over 75 MilliCare contractors worldwide.

OUR GOAL
Quality is now a term of the 1980’s. And while we have learned a lot from the many awards of excellence that we have applied for and won and have documented all of our internal processes following an ISO 9002 outline, we can no longer be satisfied with measuring customer satisfaction as our primary indicator of quality. Today, we are looking to achieve an even higher standard - a standard of performance excellence.

However, in order to successfully deliver on a promise of performance excellence, we need you, the customer, to be actively involved not only in evaluating our service but more importantly in designing a maintenance program for your facility. EBC Account Managers, Operations Managers, and customers’ representatives together review the needs of the facility and determine the optimal maintenance program for each site. This collaborative process allows us to make sure that we understand your expectations; it also helps us better understand what we need to do as a company to exceed your expectations. That is, to achieve performance excellence.

We also recognize that every facility is different; we know that time is valuable. Whether you need us in your facility weekly, monthly or quarterly, during the day or at 2AM, or at a location around the corner or across the country, we can help. Our goal is to take the worry out of maintaining the carpet in your facility so that you can move on to more important issues. You can count on EBC Carpet Services and MilliCare’s network of knowledge, the largest and most experienced group of carpet maintenance companies in the country, to prolong the life cycle of your carpet and upholstery for years beyond conventional cleaning systems, to provide long-term financial savings and to help your buildings both look and feel clean.

OUR TEAM
Experienced technicians who take the utmost pride in the quality of their work combined with state-of-the-art carpet cleaning products are the norm at EBC. It is the commitment to our carpet operatives, however, that is the basis for our success as a company and what has fueled all of the quality improvements we have made in our first 17 years. Great care is taken when choosing our associates. We strive to retain our employees by hiring only full-time associates (very unique to our industry) and by providing the best salary and training for the position. Drug screening and intensive background checks are a part of the core hiring process. You will be extremely pleased with the teams we send into your facility to provide service. Fully uniformed and highly motivated associates arrive ready to perform at the highest level. Our products are safe for our employees and customers. All equipment including vans, carpet pile lifters and vacuums are well maintained. All associates are well trained in workplace safety issues, especially those involving lifting and chemical and electrical safety. We are extremely proud of our exceptionally low turnover rate which enables us to promise you that the most experienced and motivated workers will be providing service in your facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
